A few nights became a community. The community became a reason to gather again.
Somewhere along the way, Quite Lucky translated into drum & bass parties, festival takeovers, documentaries, creative camps in Transylvanian villages, merch worn like a conversation starter, and friendships formed in the strange honesty of very loud rooms.
Quite Lucky Records grew from the same place.
After Romanian and international artists spent time creating together away from the rush of stages and schedules, it became clear that some tracks needed a home.
The sound is drum & bass in its many moods: soulful, deep, raw, delicate, unruly when necessary. Romanian DNA sits close to the heart of it, not as a flag to wave, but as a place to begin from.
Quite Lucky is for artists who care about the process, collaborations that make people braver, and for listeners who know that a night out can sometimes fix a small part of your soul.
We do not fully understand luck.
We just keep creating the conditions for it.
